function computeQuantiles(tensor: Tensor, probabilities: number[]): Promise<QuantileResult>

Compute quantiles (percentiles) of a tensor.

Uses GPU for data transfer and CPU for the actual quantile computation since quantiles require sorting which is complex on GPU.

Parameters

tensorTensor
Input tensor (flattened for computation)
probabilitiesnumber[]
Array of probabilities in [0, 1], e.g., [0.25, 0.5, 0.75]

Returns

Promise<QuantileResult>– Quantile values for each probability

Examples

// Get quartiles
const result = await computeQuantiles(data, [0.25, 0.5, 0.75]);
console.log(`Q1=${result.values[0]}, Median=${result.values[1]}, Q3=${result.values[2]}`);
